Miesha Theresa Tate, born on 18th August, 1986 is an American mixed martial artist. Tate is currently competing in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) which she was the former UFC Women's Bantamweight champion. Tate previously competed for Strikeforce where she is a former Strikeforce Women's Bantamweight Champion. Tate was vice president of ONE Championship. She currently ranks 10 in the UFC women’s bantamweight rankings as on the 3rd of October 2022.



 



 Early life



 Tate was the daughter of Michelle Tate and Robert Schmidt. Tate was born in Tacoma, Washington. Tate was a boy in her youth and often played on the playgrounds with other boys.
